Peel and cut potatoes into strips, cubes, or cut in a spiral in the form of chips.

Wash in cold water and dry.

Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 175°C.

Gently add potatoes to the hot oil and fry, stirring and flipping the potatoes occasionally.

After frying, let the oil drain and sprinkle with finely ground salt.

Serve as a side dish.

These homemade french fries are potatoes that are cut into strips and deep fried until golden brown, then sprinkled with seasonings. Homemade fries are WAY better than anything you’d get at a restaurant and are fun and easy to make.
